Years ago a vision came to me.  In this vision there was a man, standing on a platform surrounded by this light-fire.  Three strands of this fire surrounded the man and they were shooting up to the sky twisting together and going straight up as the man stood in the middle of them, with eyes and head looking straight up.  He turned around and I saw the man was a priest, with full dress, including the breast plate with its jewels.  As the man turned around, he now looked out horizontally and then out of His mouth, light-fire arrows shot out to the earth.

I wrote this down and frankly "forgot about it".  When I recently moved to my new place, I had a fellow believer over and he too had a vision.  The vision he described was almost exactly what I had written down and rediscovered in a journal that I hadn't opened in many years, as it had been stored in a box that I forgot about.

A few days later, I got the wild idea to see what Ai would come up with from the description of the vision.  Chills hit me all over, as I stared at the image that Ai generated.  It was about 95% exactly of what I had seen and to this day I still remember.  I knew then that it was not just Ai that created this image, there was a definitive deep truth being released.

Since then, the Lord has taken me through "school" and is teaching me about what true intercession is.  As that is what the Vision showed, described and released.  It is still an unfolding revelation, following is what I've been shown so far about the image:

1. The intercessor is a priest and is wearing the priestly garments.  This is critical and must not be overlooked.  Neither must the physical appearance of the priest be overlooked, for it both reveals about the intercessor's heart condition and what is needed to stay in the fire.

2. The intercessor is in the middle of the fire of the Altar.

3. The fire will burn anything and everything that is not Holy and sanctified to the Lord.

4. There was no smoke in the fire, as there was nothing left being consumed.

5. The three strands of the fire represent both the Trinity and the DNA, the connection of God and His Creation.

6. The priest's FIRST priority was not a list or requests or anything from earth, he was looking UP.   The priest looking up is signifying that the intercessor's first priority is to get the perspective of Heaven.  To see what God is looking at, what God is Focusing on or concerned about at that moment in time.

7. Only WHEN the perspective of Heaven is understood is when the  intercessor turned and then declared that unto the earth.  Only when the heart of the Father is seen and understood by the intercessor is when the intercessor speaks unto the situation, the earth realm.

8. What shot out of the intercessor's mouth were declarations that were lazer arrows that shoot straight into the root of the issue, no deviation, arc, or wandering.

Some personal thoughts and commentary:

It's been years since I have had this vision and still can recall it clearly as if it had just occurred.  For lack of better terminology, I've been calling this revelation "what True Intercession is."  And as I've kept digging more and more into it, personally I've discovered just how wrong I've gotten what intercession is.

I'm discovering that intercession is not about prayer points shared between an "elite" or small circle of leaders.  I'm discovering just how little a "list" matters.   As I have kept digging into the revelation of what this vision unlocks about Intercession, I'm discovering that it is really about being in concord with the heart of Heaven and just as there are protocols to operate in The Kingdom of God,  there are protocols to operate in intercession.

The vision shows just how critical harmony, agreement, being in concord is, or in other words UNITY.  And if you look at the life of Jesus, this is and has always been HIS heart.  He was in intercession for us before the first subatomic particle was ever created, he came to Earth and was found away praying/interceding for us.  Out of all the things that the disciples could have asked about that is written down,  it is not about "spiritual warfare" nor about "how to do a deliverance ministry", nor did they ask how to "prophesy."   But they did ask Jesus to teach them HOW TO PRAY.  Jesus knew just how important it was for unity, harmony to be in concord with heaven and each other that one of his last record prayers on earth was for God to make us ONE, just as He and God are one.  Cause he knew this would then let the World see the witness that Jesus was Lord and Savior sent by the father.

As I keep digging into the vision, I'm starting to understand that true intercession is more and more about the intercessor, the one making the petition, the individual.  I am discovering just how ineffective all the music, out loud scripture reading, or declaration/decreeing of things really is when the intercessor himself is not in the right protocol.  

I have found myself asking simple but yet dangerous questions about what I thought intercession was and how to do it.  Questions such as, "if all this really worked,  why is it that the country, state, city are in the state things are?"

Taking things personally, to where I live, I find myself saying "woe is me for i am a man of unclean lips that live among unclean people."

Things like 80% of the populace in the USA declares to be "christian."  Yet the number one consumer and producer of pornography is the USA.  The number one country of sex slavery is the USA.  

Something is not right, that despite all this "revelation and information" and application in prayer meetings, the fastest growing church is NOT in the USA but rather in Iran and Iraq.

As I keep digging more and more into this vision from many years ago, I can't help but to ask for forgiveness for my own arrogance and futile efforts, thinking that the right "list", "prayer meeting framework" or "magical recipe book" would equal true intercession.

God is spirit and those that worship Him, must worship Him in spirit and in truth.  I'm more and more inclined to admit that the truth begins with admitting the true state of a subject.  That what I've believed really has not worked, or rather God has worked despite my own arrogance and understanding.

I'm convinced now more than ever that true intercession is not about how many words or scriptures are recited in a prayer meeting, but rather about truly listening for the Heartbeat of Heaven, more about listening and seeing the perspective of Heaven over my words and declarations.  More about listening over the many words coming out of my mouth to have a one sided conversation.  More about getting together and submitting to each other what part of the perspective we see, and in that UNITY we come into concord with the Father and each other and truly see the fullness of the truth of a situation.
